Goldsmiths Degreeshow 2005.
16/6/2005-20/6/2005. I used the opportunity of my degree show at
Goldsmiths to create a tense mythology of guilt, fear and desire. I
wanted to give substance to images that would flicker through the
mind under stress, but not surface unless as a bad dream. Such
images and ideas will influence important decisions but no one would
claim them to be rational. Bad conscience, prejudice, abject desires
and our fears of getting lost or loosing are the kind of matter
myths are crafted from. I showed the videos Ascension and Witches,
and the sculptures Bad Conscience, Selfstorage, Spiritchair, The
Dead Patriarch’s Dog and Buttercunt. At Goldsmiths College
in London.
