The National Sculpture Factory offers a number of services relating to the promotion of sculpture in Ireland. These services range from the qualitative administration of per cent for art competitions, to sculptural repair and the promotion of sculpture in business.
Consultancy and Corporate services
NSF works as a public art consultant for various local authorities and other private bodies, overseeing the commissioning of public art and the per cent for art schemes opw.ie. Typical clients include city and county councils, community groups, architects, landscape architects, private companies and engineers. On behalf of these various agencies, the NSF will oversee an entire project, from the initial commissioning brief, to the final signing of the contract. A variety of commissioning models are used to ensure a diverse range of high quality work is selected and to maximise the implementation of the per cent for art scheme.

Sculptural repairs and maintenance
In addition to being a facility for artists, the NSF offers a number of services to the corporate sector. We are one of very few specialists in the country with the facilities and expertise to repair and maintain public sculpture and have provided this service for several local authorities.

Placing sculpture in business contexts
The Rotating Exhibition Scheme’ is another service run by the NSF, which benefits both artists and business clients. It consists of small-scale art works offered on loan to various corporate offices around the city and county. Each artist who has a work selected receives a fee, and each corporate client is provided with an annual selection of art works.
